iOS Devices

We make your app idea into reality!

iPhone

The iPhone is a line of smartphones designed and marketed by Apple Inc. All generations of the iPhone use Apple's iOS mobile operating system software. The consistency of the underlying software means that your app runs on every iPhone, everywhere reliably!

iPad

The iPad is a line of tablet computers designed, developed and marketed by Apple Inc., which run the iOS and iPadOS mobile operating systems. iPad is capable of running iPhone software or specific apps designed for the iPad only. Again, with consistent software, apps run on all iPads.

Apple Watch

Apple Watch is a line of smartwatches designed, developed, marketed and sold by Apple Inc. It incorporates fitness tracking and health-oriented capabilities with integration with iOS and other Apple products and services.

Why only Apple Devices?

The consistency of the underlying software, named iOS, allows for one application to operate on all devices.  In the Android world, this is not true as Android has currently 9 supported versions (source) which means  an app may or may not run on all phones.  This, plus the amount of maintenance on that many versions, is one reason we DO NOT do Android development.

In November of 2018, Apple stopped reporting sales numbers for the iPhone after selling 2.2 billion devices worldwide.  The interesting statistic is that Apple gained over 80% of revenue in the smartphone market demonstrating that other manufacturers lost money each time they sold a phone.  (source).  Why is this important? – read on…

Consider…

App Revenue – Mobile has been part of our digital lives for over a decade.  App revenue has been a solid component and strategy of business and increases in importance as time progresses.  Apple reported over $50 billion in app revenue last year (Google Play was half).  Considering that Apple’s share is 30% of the total price, that would place the total revenue of the iPhone app market at $166 billion.  This is a very significant number and a statistic that business owners should ponder when thinking about the potential for app sales.

Engagement – Business owners should also deliberate the intangible benefit of providing an app for existing customers.  There is an inherent ability to provide engagement, communication, information, scheduling and discounts through a direct channel.  This concept of having direct communication with a customer base allows an organization to maximize its current engaged customer revenue as well as learn and improve.

Wearables – The new world of wearables allow consumers to possess instant access to digital goods and services.  The Apple Watch is an excellent example providing business the ability to communicate and engage customers on a personal level.  Apple’s Human Interface Guidelines combined with our expertise provide guidance in effective use of these devices without violating privacy or privilege.
